As your pastor, I want to first say how honored and grateful I am to serve alongside such a faithful and loving body of believers. Together, we have seen God move in incredible ways - lives changed, people baptized, families restored, and faith deepend. Now, I believe God is calling us to take a bold step forwatd into a new season of freedom and putreach. Matthew 25:40 says:
"And the King will say, 'I tell you truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!"
The Objective: Pay Off the Church Building to Free Our Hands for Ministry and care for the outstanding needs of our building.
Our building had been a tremendous blessing - a place of worship, teaching, and community. But we are carrying a financial burden that, once lifted, will allow us to shift our energy and resources more fully toward our mission: to love God, love people and transform our community.
Financially we have not had the capacity to take on many of the desired projects and when something needs to be fixed, we are left scrambling, i.e. the roof and the A/C unit we replaced.
